Absolutely Know About "Me"

Whenever possible, i like to include others (Users/Product Managers/Stakeholders/clients/Implementation team) in my design process to get the best possible outcome.

I personally believe us designers should be part of initial product discussions.I would expect us designers to have a seat in major product strategy calls.

As a long term plan, I wish to build a company of my own in future.I would love to be part of any discussions, calls, brainstorming, learning opportunities that could help me build the necessary skills.

  • @ Plansource we had a need to show how things have changed in a profile like page.
  • General idea was to introduce a new page with all the history showcased in a tabular manner.
  • But this would complicate the user flow a lot.
  • After discussing with users i came to know all they want was which all fields have changed since inception and what was the change.
  • My solution was to simply add a history icon to all the fields in profile page that had changed, hovering on which you could see how things changed.
  • This was easily implementable and users could use as part of their current flow without a need to move to another page frequently.

  • @ Healthsocho we initially had the concept of an online marketplace alone.
  • While building the mobile app there was a need for providing credible references to our product.
  • I thought of introducing consultations via the app which turned out into a secondary consultation provider vertical in the app.
  • My solution was well received and the founder is still pursuing a startup in that direction.

  • @ Plansource we had a need to provide a way show some statistics as a year end review page.
  • We had frequent discussions as a focus group of designers, developers, stakeholders and users.
  • I facilitated the discussions and kept it going in the right direction.
  • Surprisingly we were able to gather a lot of ideas from across the group.
  • We were able to add even some good suggestions from the developer side, (Like a popping confetti animation) which we ourselves might not have thought to be feasible in that short timeframe.
  • Our solution was well received, implemented and deemed as the most creative addition for the HR portal.
